상항 서머나 교회는 죄인들을 구원하시기 위해 이세상에 오신 예수그리스도의 구속사역의 결과로 세워진 그리스도의 한 몸입니다. 그래서 상항서머나 교회는 이시대의 그리스도의 성육신의 연장선에서 그리스도를 닮아가고 따르는 3가지 비전을 지니고 있습니다.
1. 하나님의 말씀에 근거하여 그사랑을 체험하며 경배하는 예배공동체 (UP)
2. 하나님의 말씀에 근거하여 서로 세워주고 함께 성장해나가는 코이노이아 공동체 (IN)
3. 하나님의 말씀에 근거하여 가깝고 먼 이읏을 섬기는 아웃리치 공동체 (OUT)
What Is Our Purpose?
What is the Vision of Sf Smyrna Church?
Our purpose & vision for the Smyrna Church is simple. We exist to Reach Up, Reach In, and Reach Out.
Because our God Reached Down to save His people. These three are the biblical mandates of the local church based on the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Reach Up
We work hard to provide an exciting and God-honoring environment for worship. When we worship God, we express our love and devotion to Him. What an honor it is to humbly come before the Creator of the Universe. All of us are wired for worship, and the only way we can express true love to God and worship Him is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Reach In
We also exist to help you as a Christ-follower to grow in your spiritual maturity and become followers of Christ. Because the Christian life is one of constant growth and development, we are focused on providing biblical principles that can be applied to everyday life. We want to help you move from a spectator in the stands to the game of active service.
Reach Out
Another key purpose of Fellowship is to reach out to people who are outside the family of God, who live near our living place or in the far corners of our global world. Every day, we run into people who are just an invite away from a life-changing encounter with Christ. Invite your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to attend Fellowship so they will hear and understand what it means to be a follower of Christ.
